Welcome to Reykjavík, Iceland IGARSS 2027

The 2027 International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland, on July 11-16 2027. The flagship conference of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) is aimed at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experience on recent developments and advancements in geoscience and remote sensing technologies, particularly in the context of earth observation, disaster monitoring and risk assessment.

This Year's Theme

The theme of IGARSS 2027 is Global Vision for a Changing Planet, and the conference focuses on the evolving technical, scientific, and policy landscape of Earth observations, remote sensing, and geoscience, promoting global collaboration and sustainable solutions for monitoring the environment
