IGARSS 2027 invites submissions for full papers, abstracts, and recently published articles. Accepted full papers will be published in IEEE Xplore, while others will be presented at the conference.
The 47th IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS 2027) will be held July 11-16, 2027, in Reykjavik, Iceland. The theme of IGARSS 2027 is Global Vision for a Changing Planet, and the conference focuses on the evolving technical, scientific, and policy landscape of Earth observations, remote sensing, and geoscience, promoting global collaboration and sustainable solutions for monitoring the environment.
Submission Types
IGARSS 2027 accepts three types of submissions:
- Full Papers (4 pages) - Required for inclusion in IEEE Xplore and eligible for the Student Paper Competition.
- Abstracts (400-600 words) - Not published in IEEE Xplore but considered for oral or poster sessions.
- Recently Published Articles - Papers published in a Q1-ranked journal after January 1, 2026. All accepted submissions will be organized into oral or interactive poster sessions.
Submission Guidelines and Deadlines
- The submission portal opens on November 10, 2026.
- The final submission deadline is January 11, 2027.
- Only accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in IEEE Xplore, ensuring high visibility and impact.
- Authors are encouraged to align their submissions with the GRSS Fields of Interest, covering theory, concepts, and techniques of remote sensing of the Earth, oceans, atmosphere, and space, as well as data processing, interpretation, and dissemination.
